The fan truck that was all the rage this Giants season didn’t get to strut her stuff in the victory parade —  much to the disappointment of followers.  “Nellie” as her fans call her, is a ’55 Chevy pickup that is decked out bumper to bumper in Giants colors, flags and paraphernalia.  Before the parade rolled through downtown, people were standing in line to have their picture taken beside the grand lady.  You have to admire the team behind this masterpiece for their persistence in trying to get Nellie included with the other retro vehicles carrying local politicians and dignitaries.  Just like the Giants, they “didn’t stop believing”. Here’s to more giants among Giants fans and this unforgettable baseball season!
