The Highland Games is about more than hefting poles and tossing hammers. It is the brilliant backdrop for a co-creative dance of artists and musicians each moving to their own rhythm.
I am always moved by artists who want you to appreciate their vision and inspire you to feel the vibration that feeds their soul. While attending the Scottish Games in the North Bay, I learned rhythm is art and art is music. Over the years, his career has weathered good times and bad, but his dance to success came through staying with the flow and truly believing it’s never too late to “follow your passion”. What better backdrop to uncover his genius than among poets, fiddlers, harpers, vocalists and Scottish country dancing.
