Imaginations ran wild this year with San Francisco as the theme of the LEAP Sandcastle Contest (now 27 years strong). Architects pair up with kids to build extraordinary designs and the creativity kicks up as high as the waves down at Ocean Beach. Future innovators are born here. But what really impressed me is the grown up attitude about healthy competition. These 10 year olds are brilliant!
Leap…imaginations in learning — is a non-profit with the aim of stimulating imagination and creativity in Bay Area children by bringing visual and performing artists and architects into the classroom for extended residencies.
This is fantastic! I work for Leap and would love to repost this video on our website: http://www.leap4kids.org. Would that be OK? Thanks! – Julie (julie@leap4kids.org)
